Who comes on these trips

Queer men in their 20s through 50s. Solo travellers, couples, friends. People who travel often and want their next trip to feel less like a holiday and more like a homecoming.

You don't need to be loud, out, partnered, single, fit, fluent, well-travelled, or anything in particular. You just need to want this kind of week where you can come as you are and stay that way.

A note from the founder

Hello. My name is Wafi. I'm the founder of Habibi Lads and a traveler.

Somewhere along the way, travel stopped being just about places for me. As a Yemeni-Indonesian queer man, I started noticing something else: the spaces, the people, the moments where you don't have to explain yourself. Those became the whole point.

We travel differently. We're not just looking for destinations. We're looking for something that feels like it was made for us. And so much of the time, it isn't.

Habibi Lads came from that feeling. Small, intentional group trips across Asia, for queer men who want something personal, local, and real.
